Pueblo Vista – Meet you at Ella’s

Pueblo Vista’s “Meet You at Ella’s” is a masterful blend of nostalgic off-beat boom-bap, jazz-funk grooves, and rich instrumental storytelling. From the very first beat, the track exudes warmth—driven by a phat bassline that anchors the groove, while soulful keys and a beautifully distorted sax sample weave a hypnotic dance between past and present.

The dusty textures and laid-back swing of the drums create an atmosphere that feels effortlessly cool, like stepping into a smoky jazz club at midnight. Each note drips with emotion, yet the track retains an undeniable sense of ease—chill, yet full of life.

p.s. The theme of this comp was “You find a cute little music shop in Tokyo, playing your favourite Jazzy & Funky Hip Hop jams.” So after a quick search I came across @ellarecords , hence the title of my track.

MY "Hot take" on indie artists

Being an indie artist isn’t automatically a badge of authenticity

— sometimes it’s just a result of avoiding the business side of music, which is crucial for long-term success.
